The AI race is truly in full swing. Just in case you missed it, Microsoft. had its presentation on Tuesday 7-2-2023 at its headquarters in Redmond Washinton. This was closely followed (monitored) by Google the following day at a conference in Paris.

You avoid putting a heavy object on a flimsy plastic table because you have worked out the physics in your brain that the said table will break or collapse. It is all to do with manipulating people rather than machines. Relentless Ransome attacks, with cyber criminals encrypting networks and demanding vast sums for decryption or maybe a sneaky malware attack which lets hackers hide inside the network for months on end stealing everything from usernames, passwords to bank details are all over the media

Innovations including quantum computing, AI, and smart cities could bring a range of benefits to everyone. However, as with every technological innovation no matter how nascent there will be malicious actors lurking in the vicinity to exploit them.

A couple of weeks ago, Meta announced that the Facebook newsfeed would be shifting towards an algorithmic, recommendation-based model of content distribution. A sure approval that recommendation media is the new standard for content distribution.
