JavaScript was the default front-end scripting language employed. Its universal usage, appeal and myriads of open-source frameworks to chose from - made this choice a no brainer. All interaction and transition animations are JavaScript and CSS3 enabled.

Bootstrap is the world’s most popular framework for building responsive mobile-first sites. In other words, this creation from Google puts all the scaffolding elements - html,css and javascript in a systematic and structural disposition that enables you to build responsive site in a fraction of the time it would have taken otherwise. It is free to use and has copious of basic templates to start you off with very minimal learning time. As with most opensource frameworks, a deeper knowledge allows you to produce more sophisticated responsive html pages .

PHP is a popular general-purpose scripting language that is predominantly used to power and manage webservers. It accounts for nearly 80% of all webservers running on the internet. It is opensource and FREE. Manage and maintained by a community truly dedicated to its openness and easily written syntax and semantics. The current stabled and secured version 7.2 was used as opposed to 7.3 which we think is still work in progress.

Dynamic content was centric to the main interface. Thus, new books particulars could easily be uploaded into the database and this process will instantaneously be reflected on the home page and the book category section respectively. Filling a form with all the books attributes including Price and CoverPage Graphics are all done through a simple form at the backend.
