A Brief History
Fresh Aid is a child of necessity created out of a situation that has become desperate - To address the growing level of Domestic Violence and disillusionment among individual Ghanaians.
Freshaid is an organization with aims to alleviate sufferings of isolated and dejected poor members of the community. These people, including the elderly whose needs are conspicuously overlooked. They (for one reason or another) are not willing to seek help even when they are ill. Other groups including children and abused women who find it difficult to speak out due to societal norm and cultural traditions.
To redress the aforementioned, there is a need for an easy accessible drop in place for information and advice. The pioneering founders of Freshaid in their wisdom, deliberated to rectify this awful situation. Their vision is that Freshaid initially based in Accra and Ejisu near Kumasi in the Ashanti Region will provide access to a "One Stop Shop" for Information, Advice, Guidance and support to all and sundry affected by the current situation. It is their ambition to bring these goals to fruition in the shortest possible time. We hope you join us in our endeavours.
